Bio
this is my personal journal where i don't have to censor myself. i'm completely blunt and honest here. some details may be very graphic, so please read with discretion. there are certain people i don't want reading my journal and that's why it's friends only. but i'll most likely add you.

about me

there's more to me than what i can put here in this space. there's more to me than what i write about in my journal. there's not one venue that can encompass me. so learn a little about me here.

dance is the one thing that i believe has saved me. it gave me a purpose when i didn't have one. it gave me structure, discipline, and a sense of myself when i was lacking those. all the hard work of taking class and being in rehearsals always paid off for that moment on the stage, when i was dancing in the moment. and no one can ever take those memories away from me.

don't judge me. i judge myself enough as is.

what's important to me

i've gone through a lot in my life. there have been many ups and downs. i've been lucky enough to have a group of friends by my side, sharing in my joys and letting me lean on them in times of need. i've always said my friends are my family. i'm such a blessed person to have them in my life. they are trustworthy, honest, loyal, fun, selfless, respectful, kind, generous, loving, caring, complex, intelligent, and always there for each other.

i am honest almost to a fault. i don't believe in beating around the bush or holding my tongue just because my opinion isn't a popular one. i would rather have someone be honest with me and not like the answer than have someone lie to me just to spare my feelings.

i believe that my grandmother is the one that saved me. she has always been there for me. she has taught me what unconditional love really is. i love her with all my heart.

i was fortunate enough to work for a church earlier this year. whilst it wasn't the best job in the world, it taught me that God wants me to help others. and it was such a blessing to work with people who became my friends, but were also devoted to sharing God with others. they taught me that i should lean on God and follow my heart. that's one of the ingredients to happiness.

i believe another important ingredient to happiness is to help the world become a better place. there are things we can each do to make that happen. make wise choices. read and learn. click on the links below.
